EASTSPRING INVESTMENTS ANNOUNCES MAIDEN INCOME DISTRIBUTION FOR TARGET INCOME FUND 4

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 31 (Bernama) -- Eastspring Investments Bhd has announced a
maiden income distribution of 5.92 sen per unit for Eastspring Investments Target
Income Fund 4.

The fund was launched on Aug 25 last year.

Chief Executive Officer Raymond Tang said in a statement today, the fund's
performance was attributed to the company fund managers’ disciplined investment
strategy.

He said the five-year close-ended bond fund endeavours to provide regular
income during its tenure by investing in local or foreign bonds.

"In the current low interest rate environment, investors continue to chase
for yields, which results in strong demand for close-ended bond funds that
potentially offer higher returns than fixed deposits," he added.

Tang said all unit holders who maintained their holdings in the funds as at Oct 28 would be entitled to the income distribution.

The fund is managed by Eastspring Investments (Singapore) Ltd.
