​ENAPTER OPENS SERIAL FABRICATION FACILITY FOR MODULAR HYDROGEN ELECTROLYSERS

New manufacturing process reduces costs by 20 percent and increases production capacity eightfold for more affordable hydrogen generation

PISA, Italy, Sept 17 (Bernama-BUSINESS WIRE) -- Enapter, a manufacturer of modular hydrogen electrolysers, announced today the unveiling of its new serial fabrication facility in Pisa. The revamped manufacturing process will increase Enapter’s production capacity eightfold and reduce electrolyser costs by more than 20 percent. These improvements can make onsite hydrogen generation an affordable reality for a multitude of applications worldwide, including energy storage, backup power, power-to-heat, industrial hydrogen production and hydrogen-based mobility.

Hydrogen generation has the potential to play a key role in the clean energy transition but has been limited by cost and scalability. Enapter’s EL 2.0 electrolyser addresses these challenges through its patented Anion Exchange Membrane (AEM) technology. With a simple balance of plant and no noble metals needed, Enapter’s AEM reduces costs and increases lifetime performance of hydrogen generation. Serial fabrication allows Enapter to deploy the current EL 2.0 hydrogen generator to an even larger customer base while creating capacity for the forthcoming EL 2.1 product.

Milrem Robotics introduces fifth generation THeMIS UGV



KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 10 -- Milrem Robotics, the leading European manufacturer of unmanned ground vehicles (UGV) has introduced the fifth generation THeMIS UGV at DSEI 2019 in London, designed to assist war fighters and enhance combat effectiveness.

The fifth generation THeMIS incorporates all the knowledge gained during tests held in the United States, Europe and the Middle East, among others.

It follows NATO STANAG standards in the vehicle’s architecture, safety, air transportability, power offload and other aspects, according to a statement.

The THeMIS is a multipurpose tracked vehicle that can be equipped with other war-fighting technology such as weapon systems, tethered drones and IED detection devices, among others.

Live firing tests have been conducted with five different weapon systems, including an anti-tank missile launcher.

The first fifth generation THeMIS vehicles have already been delivered to the Netherlands and Norway as logistic platforms intended to carry gear and supplies with an option to be integrated with additional war-fighting equipment.
