NSW-based dynamic hospitality and fitness group uses Boomi to connect digital environment and set foundation for business analytics

SYDNEY, Feb 20 (Bernama-BUSINESS WIRE) -- Boomi™, the intelligent integration and automation leader, today announced that profit-for-purpose Norths Collective is using the Boomi platform to power personalized member experiences, bolster day-to-day operations, and accelerate expansion through industry amalgamation.

This press release features multimedia. View the full release here: https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20240219299165/en/

Norths Collective is a member-owned collective of eight hospitality venues and two fitness centers located on Sydney’s North Shore and in northern New South Wales. As a profit-for-purpose business, Norths Collective’s profits are channelled back to its members and the community, enabled by digital services. Norths Collective implemented Boomi’s integration platform as a service (iPaaS) to help drive its digital transformation strategy by allowing it to connect its siloed systems, centralize operational and member data, and ultimately improve business decision-making.

“This year will be the ‘year of enhancing integrations’ for Norths to build a business analytics practice that will enhance customer experience across our 61,000 strong member base. It will help us improve how we run our venues, ensure engagement is personalized to members’ needs, and make interacting with any of our venues and fitness centres as simple as possible,” said Robert Lopez, General Manager of Customer Experience Brand & Innovation at Norths Collective. “Achieving all this starts and ends with our integrations. Boomi is the oxygen that runs through our digital transformation, allowing us to tap all information sources to maintain a 360-degree view of customers, get smarter with data, and drive better business decisions.”

Boomi enables Norths Collective to integrate Salesforce with applications used for its hospitality venues and restaurants, fitness centers, ticketing and events bookings, point of sale, and crucially, membership program and a new mobile app. Most recently, Norths Collective integrated Tableau as part of its business analytics strategy, and plans to incorporate human resources (HR) and rostering, finance and accounting, supplier systems, enterprise risk management (ERM), telephony, and social media in the near future.

Before Boomi, Norths Collective manually managed numerous point-to-point integrations, although many systems operated completely independently. This roadblocked the company’s ability to understand members’ behaviours, and therefore slowed the delivery of new services.

Norths Collective’s Boomi-connected environment has generated various advantages. Every email sent to its members is now personalized, which has resulted in a 10 percent click-through jump. With complete data visibility, Norths Collective is able to develop and share an Ethical Personalization Policy with the community, detailing how the organization is using data ethically. In future plans, Norths Collective venues will see their floor managers able to visualize staffing with live transactions to ensure resources are used as efficiently as possible. Boomi will also support Norths Collective’s effort to integrate Apple Pay and Google Pay to further enhance and streamline member sign-up through a quick and easy payment experience.

Boomi also plays a key role in Norths Collective’s expansion by expediting how quickly new facilities can be onboarded following amalgamation activity. As it stands, Norths Collective has further amalgamations planned in coming years, where newly acquired members will be able to rapidly gain access to the same benefits enjoyed by those of the broader membership.

“Our ability to scale has improved astronomically. It previously took 10 weeks to onboard a new venue into our digital landscape,” said Lopez. “We have that down to three weeks – that’s a 70 percent reduction in time to market. Boomi allows formerly siloed systems to talk to Salesforce in real time, so data no longer lives in isolation, and through this real-time integration, new members have access to our app within one minute of joining.”

Nathan Gower, Director of Australia and New Zealand at Boomi, said, “Customer experience makes or breaks businesses. The quality of every interaction, whether in person, through an app, or online, determines the likelihood of consumers coming back. Norths Collective is setting a standard for what customer experience should look like. With Boomi connecting all digital touchpoints, the collective truly understands what its members want and has optimized its workforce to ensure members’ every visit is positive.”

Provider of Smart Out of Band management adds Smart Management Fabric to its Lighthouse Automation Edition (AE) software solution.

EDISON, N.J., Feb 16 (Bernama-BUSINESS WIRE) -- Opengear, a Digi International Inc. company (NASDAQ, DGII, www.digi.com) and provider of secure and Smart Out of Band management solutions, today launched Smart Management Fabric, extending the value and functionality of Opengear’s Network Resilience platform with dynamic routing-based IP access.

Lighthouse Automation Edition (AE) and Opengear's appliance software have been upgraded to include dynamic routing, allowing for a complete management network overlay. These updates enable users or machines, through automation or configuration tools, to connect to the resources they need to access or manage. They support a range of commonly used technologies such as the secure shell (SSH), hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP), graphic user interface (GUI), service processors (SPs), baseboard management controller (BMC), remote desktop protocol (RDP), network automation tools, and server management software for virtualized environments.

The new SMF is the outcome of countless hours of interaction and engagement with customers, alliances and collaborators. These exchanges have enabled Opengear to gain insight into how the latest market dynamics and technological advancements impact IT network and infrastructure management. These insights will drive the company's strategic direction for the next several years, starting with Smart Management Fabric.

SMF forms a unified management framework and makes Opengear’s network resilience platform valuable for the whole IT organization, from network engineers and system admins to support staff who need access to IP-based resources. These teams can now quickly provision and access their server-management tools as well as manage any IP-based physical or virtual resources. Additionally, network engineers can use their favorite automation tools to provision, monitor, and manage their IP endpoints at scale.

“At Opengear, we are committed to providing world-class solutions for secure and resilient access to connect, configure, or restore connected IT resources,” said Opengear President Gary Marks. “Opengear has once again redefined out of band management with SMF and routed IP-access. SMF allows customers to leverage the Opengear solution to deliver the best possible day 0/1 experience, becoming the basis to deploy, manage, and remediate connected network resources from anywhere.”

ANAQUA LAUNCHES ANAQUAGOV PROVIDING ENHANCED SECURITY AND CONTROLS FOR MANAGING HIGHLY SENSITIVE IP DATA

New, secure U.S. environment launches with NIST SP 800-171 assessment in anticipation of future CMMC certification

BOSTON, Feb 16 (Bernama-GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Anaqua, the leading provider of innovation and intellectual property (IP) management technology, today announced the launch of AnaquaGov™, providing U.S. defense contractors and all other clients handling U.S. CUI (Controlled Unclassified Information) with a specialized environment to manage their highly sensitive IP data.

In making the announcement, Anaqua confirmed that the AnaquaGov enclave fully meets NIST SP 800-171 compliance requirements—the strict standards set by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology for safeguarding sensitive information on federal contractors' IT systems and networks. This follows a review and validation of AnaquaGov by Schellman & Company, LLC, a leading CMMC third-party assessment organization (C3PAO). For this offering, Anaqua operates the AQX® IP Management System in the AnaquaGov enclave.

The development marks a significant step forward in Anaqua’s objective for AnaquaGov to obtain Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)—the new standard designed to improve the cybersecurity readiness of businesses that work with the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD)—once the standard is finalized, and certifications are generally available.

Anaqua CEO Bob Romeo said: “At Anaqua, we pride ourselves on the security of our IP platform and the integrity of our data management, and we are delighted to have that further validated by Schellman. AnaquaGov represents another layer of security for our clients managing the most sensitive U.S. data and complements our ISO 27001, ISO 9001 and SOC 2 Type 2 certifications and global security programs. Through AnaquaGov, we now support client entities in managing their IP portfolios to the levels of security required by DoD. We are looking forward to CMMC certifications being available in the near future and we are ready.”

Anaqua CIO Erik Bailey further explained: “Many companies today that manage Controlled Unclassified Information—frequently under export control regulations—simply do not have access to a secure platform to perform their duties in a compliant manner. Through AQX hosted within the AnaquaGov enclave, we provide a comprehensive solution to entities that have, or suspect they have, CUI. These clients can carry out their responsibilities, securely, in an environment that has been independently assessed against stringent NIST controls and that is aligned with upcoming CMMC requirements.”
