KUALA LUMPUR, June 20 (Bernama) -- Pengurusan Aset Air Berhad (PAAB) has donated RM65,000 to orphanages, mosques and selected surau during Ramadan.
PAAB chairman Tan Sri Tajol Rosli Ghazali said the donation was aimed to enliven the holy month of Ramadan with various religious and charitable programmes to those in need.
"Among the recipients is Pusat Jagaan Budaya Harapan in Rawang, Selangor which has 31 orphans. PAAB delivered Aidilfitri kits such as clothes and shoes to them.
"Besides that, PAAB has donated to 11 mosques and surau in Hulu Langat, Cheras and Ampang to help their committee members to organise religous activities in their respective areas," he told reporters after delivering bubur lambuk to residents Taman Kosas a the local mosque today.
