Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. (Tokyo: 7272) mengumumkan pada 4 November bahawa ia melancarkan motosikal supersport baharu YZF-R1 yang menjadi kemegahan mereka dan model atasan YZF-R1M, yang kedua-duanya menampilkan enjin empat silinder dalam talian 998 sentimeter padu yang disejukkan oleh cecair yang serba baharu dengan aci engkol 'crossplane' di acara media pada 3 November yang diadakan bersempena pertunjukan motosikal antarabangsa EICMA di Milan, Itali, yang berlangsung dari 4 November hingga 9 November.

Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. (Tokyo: 7272) announced on November 4 that it unveiled its new flagship YZF-R1 and high-end YZF-R1M supersport motorbikes, both featuring an entirely new 998 cubic-centimeter liquid-cooled, in-line four-cylinder engine with a crossplane crankshaft, at the November 3 press event of the EICMA international motorcycle show in Milan, Italy, which runs from November 4 to 9.
